Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 14, 2026

Section 1

Our Commitment

Motion Ready is committed to making its platform accessible to all licensed attorneys, including those with disabilities. We believe that access to AI-assisted legal drafting tools should not be limited by physical or cognitive barriers.

Our target conformance standard is WCAG 2.1 Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We are actively working to achieve and maintain that standard across our web application.

Section 2

Conformance Status

Motion Ready is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard.

  • Last evaluation: April 2026
  • Evaluation method: Internal review using automated tooling and manual testing with assistive technologies
  • Known areas of improvement:
    • Complex data tables in order history views may not be fully navigable by screen readers in all configurations
    • Generated PDF deliverables may have limited screen reader compatibility — text versions of all document content are available in the dashboard for accessibility

We re-evaluate conformance with each significant platform update and will update this statement accordingly.

Section 3

Technical Specifications

Motion Ready relies on the following technologies for conformance:

  • HTML5
  • CSS (including WAI-ARIA landmark roles and live regions)
  • JavaScript (with server-side rendering for improved baseline accessibility)

Compatible Browsers

The platform is designed for and tested against the latest two versions of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

Assistive Technologies

The platform is tested with the following assistive technologies:

  • NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) with Chrome and Firefox on Windows
  • JAWS (Job Access With Speech) with Chrome on Windows
  • VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS
  • TalkBack with Chrome on Android

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements throughout the platform — including forms, buttons, modals, dropdowns, and navigation menus — are accessible and operable via keyboard navigation alone. Focus order is logical and visible focus indicators are provided.

Section 4

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, the following known limitations exist. We are actively working to address each one:

  • Generated PDF documents: PDFs produced by our drafting pipeline may have limited screen reader compatibility due to complex legal formatting. As a workaround, the full text content of all generated documents is available in the order dashboard as accessible HTML.
  • Complex legal tables in deliverables: Exhibits and tables included in generated motions may require screen reader configuration (e.g., table reading mode in JAWS or NVDA) for optimal navigation.
  • Document upload interface: Drag-and-drop upload is supplemented with a standard file input button for keyboard and assistive technology users.

If you encounter a limitation not listed here, please contact us using the information in Section 5.

Section 5

Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Motion Ready. If you experience accessibility barriers on our platform, please contact us so we can address the issue.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.

When reporting an issue, please include: the URL of the page where you encountered the barrier, a description of the barrier, and the assistive technology and browser you were using.

Section 6

Formal Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you have the right to escalate through the following channels:

  • U.S. Access Board: The Access Board is an independent federal agency that promotes equality for people with disabilities. You may contact them at access-board.gov or by calling 1-800-872-2253.
  • U.S. Department of Justice: You may file an ADA complaint with the DOJ Civil Rights Division at ada.gov.
